bike

i enjoy saint john both as a newcomer and as a person who grew up here.

when i first arrived i had a plateful getting settled but with time the old ghosts have disappeared and I am beginning to see the present beauty of the city.

especially intriguing is the drama of the place; the fundy coast, the historic fishery, the lingering effects of the great fire of 1877. i find the ornate gothic style of much of the architecture very unique. few places in Canada can rival this city for it's romance.

i am beginning to find marks that capture some of what i see here, but the density of information is overwhelming. no big storms so far this summer, and possibly that's a good thing when travelling by bicycle.
