this house seems so elegant, so imposing especially from this viewing point. the swing out front was the catalyst for me to push the crisp lines of the building into the rhythmic pulse of the setting.

 

i was surprised at the square roof overhanging the multi-sided turret. it fits in a fashion and the overhang bracket only exists on the one corner. like so many others, this is a home from another age where gifted architects brought a very personal sense of style to these marvelous buildings.
