this image can be enjoyed both for its formal abstract quality as well
as the natural character of the subject.
i played with these bits of plant material enjoying the way the leaves
and flowering bits accented and broke the space. and when they began
to disintegrate, that too added interest to the arrangement.
i used old tiles to articulate a shallow space and gave the narrow
smoke textured vase a gentle curve, to push the delicately coloured
leaves to erupt violently from the inky darkness.
