i use figure drawing as a means to refine my drawing skills.

in a group setting such as the one I regularly attend, drawing the figure is a focused effort to rapidly create a well proportioned image.

life drawings are so common that they have little value in themselves.

my aim is to make an image that expresses my energy and sensibility, as well as practiced figure drawing skill.
